Katie Nowak
Katie Nowak is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University at Buffalo in 2009. She has spent the last 14 years working with children and adolescents, families and adults in the Western New York area. She specializes in eating disorders, OCD, anxiety disorders and mood disorders. Katie takes an eclectic and person-centered approach to therapy, as she does not believe “one size fits all.” She is a Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned therapist, highly trauma informed, and strongly values social justice in her work. She believes her clients are the experts in their own lives, and strives to walk alongside them toward their therapy goals.
